Alphys' former home is naught but a nest for the Amalgams now, strewn with slime and dust and clotted blood, spider legs and shattered bones. The many computer screens are broken and useless, thrown across the lab and piled in one corner, while the upper story is layered with torn pages of "human history" and cracked DVDs and shredded blankets, every personal item (besides the large statue of Mew Mew) the scientist once owned destroyed utterly.

The door to the True Lab lies on the floor before the yawning, claw marred doorway, the blackness beyond an almost breathing, knowable entity.
