Glyde, as a hidden monster, not fully part of the world, has suffered minimal damages from the effects of the Hunger, one of the least insane of the monsters left in the Underground. They have no natural predators, as they can slip in and out of the Void at will and few are aware of their existence at all, and has no interest in either helping or hindering the populous of the Underground. So long as they have their own company, Glyde is content.
Their form has begun to deteriorate from their occasional peeking into the Underground, parts of their wings and tail crumbling into stardust; dust trickles from their empty eyes and the clouded, shriveled optic in their tail, streaking their wide, blackened smile. They have convinced themselves they look better this way.
